How does someone get started working with you?
Oh, the process is so fun! After getting to know a bit more about your art goals, whether that be via in-person consultation(s), or remotely via Zoom, phone call or email, the design part begins! Each client receives 1-3 digital renderings of their proposed project, so you have a clear vision of what your future art will look like!
How does the payment part work?
After consulting, I start designing, which incurs a fee towards that time. The great part is this design fee goes towards your final balance but is nonrefundable if a client cancels the project. Before painting, a 30% deposit is due towards the total balance. Once painting is complete the remainder is due, or we can do a payment plan! I always find it super important to work with small businesses and clients with payment plans, if needed (interest free). Making our world more beautiful with art is so important to me, so those options are a definite plus! Payments are processed via check, cash, and Zelle. I do accept electronic payment, but processing fees do apply.
How do you price your murals?
Once the consultation and gathering of inspiration and ideas is completed, you will receive a quote based on the size of the piece (square footage for murals, and canvas size for smaller pieces), versus the level of detail. Each mural job is super specific to how intricate the design is, so the price can vary. Discussing budgets for a project is important, we can always design boldly or simplify based on your needs!
How far ahead should I inquire for art?
Never too early! Honestly, talking with you about your future project and vision is one of the best parts of my day, so give a girl a call! But honestly, you can never be too early. Planning on opening or revamping a business, remodeling a space, but it’s months away? No problem, early communication gives us more time to get creative and have a seamless project. I plan months out at time, on a first come first serve basis, unless a client has a very strict deadline. In a rush? Don’t worry, I’ll do my best to make paint magic happen within your timeframe.
“I want a mural but am not creative and have no clue what I want?!”
Don’t even worry! Your space, style, and decor tell me more than you think! It is more than okay if you don’t have many visual references or inspirations for your future piece yet! The research and design process can be as hands on or off as you would like. In some instances, a memory or experience can give enough of a clue to what direction to head, or a descriptive feeling of what you want the space to feel like. You will always receive digital renderings of your future art and have a chance to edit further before the painting process begins.
